Simply Seasonings Smoky BBQ Tomato sauce

Ingredients:
2 White onions
1 Yellow pepper
1 400g Tomato pasata
3 tsp of Simply Seasoning Smoky BBQ
1 tin cannellini beans
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
To Garnish : Fresh herbs and fresh tomatoes


Method:
1) Dice your onions, peppers and fry on a low heat until soft and golden. At this point you could add a meat of your choice and fry on a low heat until cooked through. I often use diced beef but you could use mince, lamb or even chicken.

2) Ensure your meat is cooked if adding meat and then add your jar of tomato Passata, drain your cannellini beans and add to the sauce and allow to simmer for 10 minutes, then add your Worcester sauce to the pan. If you require add salt to taste, this is not necessary.

3) Add 3 teaspoons of Simply Seasonings Smoky BBQ and stir into the sauce mixture.

4) Taste to check your flavour, if you would like to add more Simply Seasoning feel free. Then your sauce is free to garnish with fresh herbs and tomaotes. The sauce is then ready to serve.

Note: If you wanted your chunky sauce to be thicker leave to simmer on a medium-low heat for around 20 minutes until thickened.

If you would like a smooth sauce finally blend to your desired consistency.

You can serve the sauce with rice, pasta or even potatoes! The choice is yours!
